get the mr clean kit. thats all that i have ever used on my truck. it has a filter built in and it gives you no water spots. they eventually wear out then you just change the filter out for a new filter. plus there is a soap that you put in it spary it on after washing the truck then you need no towel to dry it hahaha! it dry's in less then a half hour with no towel. its the coolest thing. no water spots guarantied. been using it for my truck since i bought it. my truck has never seen a car wash as long as i have owned it

before long that pretty red truck will be silver because Mr. OCD washer is going to wash the paint off it! lol of coarse im kidding, you have a beautiful truck Scott and its nice to see someone take care of there investment the way you do. I just wish i had your enthusiasm for washing trucks, recent years ive started slacking. o yeah, as far as tire shine, i use the cheapo wet-n-black spray foam and i cut a round piece of cardboard to cover the wheel when i spray it on and than i wipe the tire with a rag, it takes off some of the tire shine leaving a nice shine that wont sling all over your paint. it also pics up less dust that way.
