ooopss sorry , use the gray like patrick said, just use the gray primer where I said black. The etching primer will make "bite" to the aluminum better and the paint will hold on nice

yeah it is, I was supposed to prime on mine yesterday, but my buddy didnt show to help (boat is effing heavy). It will look like new when im done

Thats awesome man! I've seen guys do that, restoring shit that took forever and it came out great, then they turn around and sell it. Dont sell it man!!

yes you should be close to a mirror finish when done your almost there just a little longer polishing.

I have done this enough to know now

Thanks for the input stone, I also polished mine last weekend, gonna do it again with a corded higher speed drill. Any more tips!
