I do realize how old this thread is, but however I just came across it and have a story to share.

My first Ranger. '97 XLT Ext. Cab, 2wd. Bought for $1000, sold it four months later for $600.

Before:

And I still drove it for two months after that, til I got my new truck.

Got rear ended in my 2002 Ranger. Totaled it off. Needed new box and tailgate it had 150000kms. SGI gave me $7500 for it. I went and bought a 2006 ranger with 95000kms for $7800.
