Default Fresh Body Lift

Well about 9 hours ad some beers and fireworks later it is done we actually finished it Saturday but i didnt get to post till now

Thanks to Joey and Marcus

It rides great and i love it

Next i need to do the grille.
Im shortening the hitch to match the new body height along with moding the towhooks so the valiance does not have to be cut

Turned out great! Wish I would have went ahead and body lifted mine before I welded brackets for the towhooks to the frame

Nice. Ordered kit but still need to get the right friend to help... A friend with air tools and torch preferrably...lol
Also need new rubber before the lift..

any suggestions or tips before i attempt a lift? i did a suspension lift on my old xj, which led to tranny issues i didnt compensate for. my bad. i wanna be prepared this time, and i see body lifts look more like what im after.

Thanks... But as for tips have some beer handy. really all in all it wasn't to much other than it took about 9 hours all together.. Took more time trying to find where we set tools and bolts down more than anything haha

Haha yeah im trying to do something about that if i can ever find a decent fleetside bed at the yard or on the list... Then im gonna make my steppie bed into a matching trailer

Ben now that you have the lift, i say keep the steppy, looks good. Just take a wire brush or grinder to the bedliner and have it redone

Looks wise i like the steppie how it sits now. but there are a couple thing that i would like but i dont have a fleetside... One reason whey I would like to get a whole bed and back half of a frame at the yard so i could make my steppie into a matching trailer and I can switch between the two if i wish
