well i got bored on my day off and got some well needed stuff done on trucky.
everybody has been telling me to pull the green splash stripe since i bought the truck 3 years ago.




the stock hood hinges were in bad shape on the firewall. the previous owner llooked liked they did a half arsed job by putting 3 self tapping sheetmetal screws folowed by jb welding them to the fire wall and the driver side broke right off. i ended up tring the explorer hinged due to the fact they have mini struts on them. odd thing is i had to use 2 driver side hinges so the would bolt up to the hood. they hold up my stocker and fiberglass hood with no problem. only thing i had to do was fab up a mounting plate behind the firewall to secure them. enjoy







next will be shaving the doors, tailgate handle and try to fix the slowly rusty cab corner
