I did these for my buddy a few months back
First set
Second set
Then he lost one and screwed up the other 2. I wasn't happy. Had about a hour into each logo.
I have no logos on my truck but will one day add some.

Little lacquer thinner should remove the black. After that just mask off what you want chrome. Paint it how you want it and peal the tape off.
Hope it helps

All it takes is patience or you could try some liquid masking. It's basically liquid latex. Brush it in thick layers where you want chrome. Same steps from there. You can get it online or at a hobby shop

So how well does the liquid masking peel off? The other problem is the edge is black and needs to be chrome and the chrome Ranger needs to be black...

That all depends on how thick you put it on. If you think it's thick enough add some more. Wipe the whole thing down in thinner and start from scratch. Way easier then trying to keep the black and just remove some spots

So just clean the whole emblem with lacquer thinner so it is all chrome then use a hard paint roller to go over the very top of the Ranger, correct?

Correct or you could use a foam paint brush or a airbrush. If there is some left outside where you want it a simple straight razor will handle that clean up.
