lol thanks. Here's the story.... I lifted in my senior year, shortly after I bought it. But my parents told me I couldn't buy tires until mine were worn out. So for the past 2 1/2 years I've been running the stock 235/75r15's!
Then, at the start of summer, I finally get a reading of 3/32" on the tread depth gauge, time for new rubber! Two weeks later I get a call from my dad (senior master tech for ford), "I have a Mountaineer sitting here that's going to auction with 16" wheels and 255/70r16's, if you want them, come over and swap them." I was pretty torn on what to do and even took a day and a half to think about it. I couldn't pass up the deal for new wheels and tires with +-8/32" of tread. I don't know, I guess it was how I was raised lol


And yes I have the Mountaineer hub caps, I actually like them better because of all the simulated hex head screws on them. Unless you're really paying attention, nobody see's the Merc emblem.
