First off, I'm not a Honda fan, but I've always liked the Element for it's versatility. You can get them with rubber floor (no carpet), and the seats fold flat (to sleep on), fold up against the side walls of the interior (for more cargo room), and just pop out, but you can get a tent that clips onto the rear! Always wanted that. Thought about getting a camper shell for camping , but that tent is awesome! Only problem is if you have a tool box, it fails...

I have a toolbox and i have no problem taking mine off (its just two j-bolts), and really you can probably still install it over the toolbox, you just lose that sleeping room. but hey you loose the toolbox feature with a camper shell as well, so its no different. I just dont have to have an ugly ass camper shell on my truck and can assemble this in like ten minutes

I thought about buying one of these tents. I found one brand new for 120.00.

Now i've seen it all, and to think i've been using a tarp and 2x4's this whole time. Definitely have to check around for one of these tents.

Very cool but has anyone had them out in heavy rain? A friend of mine ended up with a bed/tent full of water from the front by the cab but I think the problem was his tent fit very well. These look pretty sealed to the truck.

Does any one know if these mattresses fit with the tailgate closed? Like to put it in with a camper shell on.
