Default Making it mine

In the past week I have taken to making the Ranger mine (it is paid off after all). PA 3" body lift, Re-mounted the front bumper and welded it to the frame (had to, the PA brackets wouldn't support the weight). Painted the grill, center caps, truck box, both bumpers and the rear of the rocker panels (the rest will get done later) with satin black fusion paint. Front bumper (as will the Rocker panels) has an under coat of duplocolor spray on bed liner. I also did the air box mod. In the spring (sooner if possible) it will get a set of black steel 15" wheels and 33x10.50 BFG AT's.

The rear bumper is in the planning stages now. Hope to have it done by the end of summer. Thanks for all the comments. It is a work in progress, but arent they all.

Any pics of the truck from a further distance? I'm curious to get a better feel for how that bumper looks

That tool box looks really good. Any tips on how to paint it? I've been wanting to paint mine black for awhile now. I've seen a few how to's on here but I never saw any pics.

To be honest. I took it off the truck, taped the latches and the name plate off. Gave it a quick wipe with a dry cloth and painted. It took about 4 coats of the fusion. It seems to be holding up pretty good. I thought about hitting it with a scotch brite pad but I didnt want to screw up the diamond plate pattern. I'll let you know if it starts flaking off.

Sounds great. I'll have to try that. You used Krylon Fusion? like the stuff that's for plastics? I'm pretty sure I have a few cans of that lying around here somewhere

Yep. It says that it fusses to plastics but it will work on most materials. So far, I have seen no problems with it. I will post up if it starts to flake off or anything.
