Not a Ranger, but my new truck is a beast...
I haven't logged on in ages...but if anyone remembers I totaled my Ranger in December. Had a bout with a couple of pity cars my parents passed on to me...first was a '94 Corolla five speed...had some synchronizer problems as well as an effed up throwout bearing, and then I drove a '97 Camry for a couple months until the transmission unexpectedly blew up on me. So instead of letting relatives pass me any more junkers they didn't want, I bought a 1974 Ford F100. She originally had the 302, but now has a 360. I've got a little more work to do on it before it runs perfectly...I need to rebuild the carburetor and put in a new master cylinder (I'm sick of pumping the brakes at stoplights...haha) but I've got her purring pretty good. Here's a picture for anyone who's interested!!!
She just needs a new hood and a new paint job. Almost no rust.

Hey not bad. I almost went for one myself, but, I got the Ranger instead.

Working on gathering parts, paint, vynals, and such for the rest of the build LOL. I use this as an everyday truck, but it's also the only truck I have for hunting and general off road fun. Hoping to make it much better than stock!

Technically it is a Ranger since that's what F-100s became.
Nice find. And just so there's no confusion, I'm not jealous.
Promise you will not eventually paint it some hot rod color?

We'll forgive you for going to that. I don't think anyone here would pass one of those up given the chance!
