curious to know why you ran that power wire on the outside of the cab vs. just going though the firewall?

0g wire is a little too big to run in the cab. It was just as easy and clean to run it under the cab as it would be to run it in the cab.

any worry of corrosion or a rock popping up and cutting it or something like that? I'm not saying you way is wrong, I just have never seen this before that's all, I ran 0 gauge wire through firewalls with no problems (drilled a hole and used an appropriate grommet).

No worries. My truck doesn't/won't get wheeled much so my biggest fear is some ******* coming up and cutting the wire. And that would take a little bit of effort considering the thickness of the wire.

Just a recommendation. you should have ran the power wire to the dist. box instead of the battery. There are 2 post you can connect to

nice.. i did the same in my previous truck.. power wire lasted like that for 2yrs until i pulled it all out and sold it.. but in the ranger i just ran it through the front quarter panel and door lol.. i just couldnt find a good spot on my firewall..
