Default My Body Lift

Finally started it yesterday. Ive had the lift for over a year now and finally got the ambition to start. the bed itself only took about 1-1/2 hours and that was just me and my girlfriend working on it. me and 2 of my friends are going to finish the front today. I was up till 1:00 this morning working on those stupid rear bumper brackets that didnt fit with my hitch! 1 pic for now:

well, you got the hard part done, already. ;-)

When I got mine put on, Josh (HozII) and I did the bed in about a half hour or so. Then we sprayed penetrating oil on the cabin body mount bolts and called it a night. The next morning, Josh and I ran around town in his truck getting tires mounted and balanced, and by the time we got back to his place, Dustin, Steven, and Amanda had completed the body lift on my truck. Easiest mod ever! ;-)

Tomorrow Im going to get a couple good finished shots of the truck. I'd like to thank my friend mike for putting up with the BS that we had to go through with the lift and without him I couldnt have gotten it done. And a special thank you to my girlfriend who sprained her ankle while we were doing the bed last night. we were at the hospital for about 2 hours last night but all is well except for some swelling, bad news is she cant drive her car (civic 5 speed) for a few days (left ankle sprain)

I have a line on a set of 33"12.5" BFG MT's that are about 80% tread for $400. Now if I could only sell my 31" Pro Comp Mt's on my old alcoa's... hmmm....

Body lift looks AWESOME!!!!!!!!!!!! It'll look really cool with the 33x12.50's. Interested in trading the 31's for 255/75r16's lol?

Did you get your bumper to work with the tow hooks? On my setup, my 12.50's rub a slight amount on the passenger side @ full lock while backing up. Oh yea, looks good. PS: Don't forget gap-guards in the rear.

Its about time! lol (Edit: I was always bigger than you! lol). Im getting a set of BFG MT's that only have 2500-3000 miles on them. Theyre 4 years old though but for only $400 for a set of 33" bfg's that still have the nipples on them, you cant really beat it. and especially if I can sell my alcoa's and 31"s Id be good lol

My friend has an '07 Level II without fender flares and Im trying to talk him into doing his too lol. He's the one that helped me with the lift
