2000 XLT 4X4 Offroad, 4.0 / auto, supercab - the project truck!

LOL, I got a call Saturday morning, turned out they had a customer that wanted to buy that truck, so, one of their drivers brought me this one, 35 mile trip, one way. This one is a 2016 with the 3.5, and only has 11k miles on it, the other was brandy new. Both of them very nice trucks. If I ever want to act my age, I might wind up with one like either of those two.
For now, still feeling young, I'll still drive this one:

No the 8ft bed on the new super Duty's looks like ass

Well, it doesn't look the best, but sure better than on a 150. Wonder why we think like that. I remember when a short bed looked strange, now they're the norm.

I think it came along with the bigger and bigger cabs, now they have four full doors and the back passenger seat has more room than the front seat! So it makes the 8-foot bed stick out even more. I think 8 foot beds look perfect on single cabs sometimes even extended cab but lately Ford trucks just seem to make them look so long

Ya, I'm thinking the cabs have certainly gotten bigger.
I have to think they look better with a little lift as well. Take the one I'm driving right now. Even though it's a 4X4, it just sits so low, that in itself, makes it look longer and out of proportion.
