The axles are stock with 4.10 gears the rear is fords version of posi. The adaptors are special made by a guy in CA that believe it or not i found on ebay that sells the aluminum wheel adaptors. He made a one off set for the ranger. i bought the tires and rims and them placed them where i thought they looked best. i took measurements and then they where made. i will try to find his contact info if interested. The adaptors go from the 5 bolt to the 8 bolt pattern. the rims are 16 inch with the 6.5 inch 8 lug pattern. The idea was to match the aspect of the f-350. the 350 is 17inch rim with 37 13.5 tire and the f-50 is 16 inch rim with 35 12.5 tire. The duallies have a 3 inch spacer in the back to keep the tires apart. I was worried about the ride but i will tell you there is no shake or shimmy at all. I have a programmer in the 4.0 v-6 and will tell you it can turnover the duals if you like to do such things. not a race truck but surprisingly very responsive. i hope this helps any other questions just let me know, v/r Jamie

I think a panel from a steppie was grafted into a regular style side bed.

step side bedsides on a regular width bed. and if you'd look up like....3 posts, the owner said it is a custom wheel adapter going from 5 on 4.5 to the 8 on 6.5 lug pattern of the wheels.
