Yeah i could have done alot to it but i put more money in it with gas than i did anything else. It had a 4 spd manny trans so it loved gas very much.

Sounds like my dad's old 87. I6 4 speed I believe, maybe it was 5. He had it for 12 years, towed a horse trailer, and traded it in with 300k for my truck. Mine is 12 now too, 129k.

Heck no!! I dont even think that it got 10mpg. It was pretty and thats about it. I had to put that decal on it because the paint came off when i was tryin to pull the old 4x4 off.

I think it would be better with a set of the 9th gen deep dish aluminum wheels, or some Alcoas. I never was a fan or the riveted aluminum look on any truck.

I have dual 19 gallon tanks on my F100, and it would cost 160 at least to fill up both tanks with the price I paid today. And there's no tellin what my MPG's will be on that when I get her in running order.
