Its not bashing its facts. They are super nice cars but they have some issues. This is what the clutches look like btw. I was cleaning the clutch pack in this photo.

Findin out after ya bought it SUKS, but I don't think its "bashing" when us guys that work at Ford Dealers know for a fact, as we see them sittin in our service depts. waitin on clutch packs that are on national backorder from Detroit.

We got in 10 just Friday and still waitin on 24 more. That's just 1 Dealership.

The guy that poured my concrete last year has one, its had 3 clutch packs put in at 3 different dealers & still havin same problem. He was waitin on its 4th.

My Sister was lookin at tradin her 2010 Focus on a new one, I told her to buy a Fusion as she can't drive a stick. Standard trans Focus' have no trans problems, just the DPS6.

I hope your Daughter doesn't have any trouble, but the decks stacked against her.

I wouldn't lose sleep over it. I've got a friend with a 2013 fiesta and he has yet to take it to a dealer for the transmission

Lots of jealousy on this forum. It's the selectshift 6 speed auto. Not sure why I put power shift before. I am sure it is and will be just fine.

Since you don't want to listen to people who are actually informed on the issue heres an article. If you want to provide the vin for your daughters focus I can provide a screenshot of it listing the dps6 as the transmission. But you probably wont listen to that either.

If the car was bought brand new recently, would it be possible the problem was taken care of prior to the dealer selling it? Or does the "fix" for the problem wind up with the same issue down the road at some point?

Ford has released multiple clutch packs that were supposed to fix the issue. Well they didn't. I know of a couple cars that have had 3 or 4 clutches put in them.

it's a gla 45 amg. It's a 4 cyl turbo that's makes like 330hp. Performance version of the gla 250. I like the fronts of those but am not a fan of the rear ends
