Or v10-12... Ford does own a share of Aston martin, why not use their 6.0 v12

I couldn't care less. And the lower weight will make it easier to corner. I tend to like my cars to corner well.

I don't have a problem with it being a v6, if it's got the power what's the problem? Make it quiet too, even better for me. IMO, I personally hate when people want to make their cars sound like fucking spaceships

if it looks like a spaceship, has the power of a spaceship, and performs like a spaceship, it better have the sound of a damn spaceship. Sound is a huge aspect of being a supercar because unlike little rice burners, supercars can back up the sound with performance. I think it'd be disappointing to be at a car show and see a 3 sec 0-60 and 200mph+ car take off and not make a sound. Lots of time and money goes into the development of the exhaust note, not many people know that

The v6 sounds awesome too, when its idling. A v6 is just as capable as a v8.

A 4 cylinder is just as capable as a V8 in certain situations.

Like Toyota did with the LFA, having yamahas music department tune the exhaust to get it too sound like they wanted it too without losing power

I agree that it does sound good at idle. Almost sounds V8ish. But anything above idle sounds 👎. Definitely not banking the performance the 6 cylinder gives out, my biggest beef is just that the GT is too iconic to have a v6

I do get what you're saying, but to me personally that's not a big deal, loud shits are annoying,, maybe it's just the people that have loud cars and can't back up the performance, which is what? Like 80% of people that aesthetically "mod" their vehicles.

Yamaha music and Yamaha motors aren't related.

Not a big fan of the newest GT, I like the older ones much better.

Yeah Ferrari designs their engines to give off a near perfect exhaust note, or so I've read

How about a car that will go 0 to 60 in under 4 seconds, with the only sound being the tires on the road?
It's actually a little creepy to witness one of these.
