Never raced my Camaro, but my Mustang only lost twice.

T8's, YES!! We used to have 6 of them, but we wore them out, except for one. It's a 2000, with only 563k on it, 3406, 525, 13 speed with 4:10's. I got back to the yard this afternoon to have my Coronado SD serviced, and was asked to go back to Alpena in the T8 to rescue a trailer I had to leave there. It's a daycab, so not much room, but has the double frame and severe service cab package, I think it's called. That olde thing can out pull my Detroit any day, any time. Plus with that cab package, there are zero rattles, and the cab is so tight, you actually have to crack a window to close the door without slamming it. If only it had more room and the clearcoat not falling off.

No, Petes aren't for me either, can't see out of them, extended hoods handle like crap, antiquated controls, seems each light has to have it's own switch for some reason. Just a pain in the ass. But the kids and rookies like them. Ever so rarely I'll see one that looks OK, but a lot of the OTR ones remind of a circus wagon they're so duded up.

Ford all the way!!! Jk my dream car as a kid was a red stingray corvette. And my stepdad bought one a few years ago now. It's gorgeous. Fully restored. Has a 383 stroker in it with all kinds of shit that I don't even know. And it's a fucking beast. It's truly my dream car. But other than the corvette ford all te way. Ford just appeals to my eye more.

was it a rs/z28, or a SS? And of course the mustang handled better than the camaro, it was almost 900lbs lighter. I bet the camaro wouldve smoked the mustang straight line for sure.

RS/z28. Now way it would have won. It was heavier, and the transmission was garbage. The C4 in the Mustang is razor sharp compared to that crap. Straight line 1/2 mile, who knows.

my dads currently got an all stock 70 z28. Has had it since 1972. 4 speed, 350/360hp lt-1, I'm sure you know since you had one. He raced his friend in his 67 gt california special, back when both cars were still fairly new. My dads too modest to say how much he won by, but the owner of the 67 said he was embarrassed by the Mustangs performance in that situation..

Only 1969 429 Mustang engine was the Boss. It would stomp that car. The came with wheelie bars stock for a reason.

I know that. Are you saying that it came from the factory with wheelie bars on, or came with them to install when you want cuz I've never heard of them coming with them. And yes, as I said that's the only mustang that my dads car couldn't beat
