Ya, mine was a 4900SA, Michigan Special, 500 Cat, 18 speed, 4:33 rears. That thing would get down and pull like hell, plus quiet in the cab, good visibility and handling, and zero rattles at 226k. Ya, just broken in. That was my most favorite truck I've ever had.
We've got a lot of them up here set up as heavy haul loggers and chip trucks.

That is a C-15 acert, dont read into the "twin turbo" its for emissions not power. An "E" model cat is a beast.

The C15 was the last of the onroad Cats. Only real choice now is Cummins. I'm driving a DD15 Detroit, 560 hp, no comparison to an olde 3406 Cat.
Actually, I'm driving a dodge truck with a chevy engine, Freightliner Coronado with a Detroit. Truck is nice, engine ain't.

I like detroit but they got walked on by them cats, just took alot more fuel.......Coronado are nice im just not a freightliner fan and im definately not a member of the pete cult. I prefer a T800 but thats purely opinion.
