ahhhh didn't know we were talking whp thought we meant at the crank cuz my 302 is a 352 stroker and should be 1.2 hp per ci so what like 420 at the crank

Nor have I, in the 33 years I've owned my Mustang. I think the mentality of someone ordering a based model in-line 6 Mustang back then was such that they didn't spend on stuff like that. It WAS marketed as a sensible starter vehicle.

IIRC, it's right about 590 horses, and not street legal. Has a fuel cell in the trunk, body has been lightened up, full race interior including roll cage and nets. I thought I took a few photos of the interior, but don't know where they went.
You close the doors, the hood, and the trunk, and it sounds pretty tinny. Typical of a car like this. I'll likely be going back there this weekend, and I'll get more info then. A few weeks ago, they had 3 of these things, again, IIRC, this one was #45 of around 1200 or so made.

Re: Post pics of vehicle you've seen around!
With that big Whipple I would hope it'd put down more than 590 HP. I thought they were in the 700-800 range, but can't remember now.

Yes the dart is a 4 speed and the fj40 land cruiser is a 1976 or 77 and it just had a frame off restoration so it's in spectacular condition
