Yeah that grille is pretty goofy looking. These pics saved us from it's Camaro back end. GM is firing on 3 cylinders lately....

She said a vette was her dream car.
The rear on the new ones are dissapointing, but all and all pretty sweet car... For the $$$$$$ she spent I would have looked for a classic stingray

Personal taste. I don't like all the sharp angles they put on them. Although GM will never get any of my money, Cadillac definitely never would not ever.

Grand sweeping statements such as 'if you don't like them then you...' are ignorant on the face of it. If a person can't realize it's about what you do or don't like, then there really is no point in talking to them any more.

to be honest, when I saw the c7 at the auto show, I truly didn't like it. Now that I've seen them on the street, I really like them a lot. I feel that the people that don't like them just haven't seen enough on the road, at least that's how it's been with the people I know

In general I don't mind the c7 much. Never really paid attention to the grille before today, it does kind of look like a Cars grille. The tail bothers me. I know GM is cutting costs, so using the same parts on two cars is a savings. But by the time you buy a c7, I feel it should be a little more unique than having a camaro's ass. But it's not my money, people are free to buy whatever strikes their fancy.

which parts are the same that are used both on the corvette and camaro?

The lights themselves sure look the same, but I haven't tried to get up close to either to really compare, I don't care THAT much.

I guess I mostly thought the round ones looked better. But fuck it, I'm not their target audience anyway.

That's what I didn't like about it at first, the tails. But now I think they look pretty slick
