It's not stupid. What they're doing is perfectly normal standard fuel spill clean-up procedure (other than using pads insead of speedydri, but it works). We don't let the public play in hazardous materials spills while it's being cleaned up. Yes, we put cones up to keep cars from driving through and running us over. Do you have a better suggestion? And yes we tell people to not play and splash in it while we're cleaning it up. Is that too much to ask?

BTW, would you like your kid to run around in it? Would you like to track it into your home for your kid to walk on in your foyer? Would you like it on the floor of your truck?

I have one that's better than that. My boss' kid had a first gen SHO taurus (5-speed) He gets the bright idea to put a remote start because he said he's tired of going out in the morning to start it. So he has it on for a few weeks, so he decides to show it off to one of our truck drivers. so they go out the back door and he hits the remote start, well needless to say he left the car in 1st without the parking brake on, car starts, starts moving and crashes right into the back of the store.

if the car was in 1st gear and the engine started, it would stall because the clutch was not pressed. It would not Roll away. you get a C+ for your effort.

x2. does remote starts even work on manuals? i don't even see how that would work the clutch has a switch on it that won't even let the truck start unless you have the clutch pressed.
