1998 Ford Ranger 2.5L 4 cylinder auto (needs work)
SOLD it 08MARCH2010.
What I thought to be a blown head gaskets was actually a cracked cylinder head. There are hair line cracks between the valves on the head. I have prepared the engine for removal as I was going to get a new motor from a junkyard and do a swap. I've found that I don't have enough time to do it and simply want to get it out of my garage. I'm the original owner and have a clean/clear title. I bought the truck brand new in May 1998. All 180,541 miles I put on. The transmission is in good shape and does not slip or leak fluid on the ground. I would love to keep the truck as a beater but don't see fit to spend the money to buy another engine and put it in there. It's an 2.5L, 4 cylinder, automatic transmission.
The camper top is included and has an interior light and brake light. The tail gate is a bit bent in as you can see from the picture.
Truck is located in Jackson, GA. I would like to sell it for $900.
Here's a link to all the pictures I took while working on it. http://s36.photobucket.com/albums/e46/maverick1970_2000/1998%20Ford%20Ranger%204%20cylinder/

Too far down. I'm on the TN line and would have bought if closer, can't get it delivered from there, you're about 210 miles out. Transportation ideas to the TN line? Not paying a transporter, too much investment.
