2004 Ford Ranger FX4 for sale. 5-speed

The Good:

-Only 63500 miles
-4x4 (on the fly)
-Level 1 off-road package
-Towing hitch, Class 3
-Only synthetic oil since bought at 19,600 miles
-Professionally buffed/polished earlier this year.
-Sale will included an in bed toolbox. Its cheap...not sure what brand, but it does fine. Lock works.
-Spray-in bedliner
-Clutch runs strong
-Power locks/windows
-still have both keys and key fobs

The Bad:
-Tear in drivers seat from entering/exiting truck
-Chrome piece directly in front of right headlight bulb has broken off inside housing. I removed the headlight assembly and shook out all but one big piece. No noticeable lighting differences between the left and right sides though.
-Top of tailgate is bent outward. Latches/unlatches with no problems though.
-Right most side dash vent broken. Can be adjusted if done carefully.
-Radio bezel, specifically directly below radio, has started peeling.
-Center slider on rear window broken. Installed plexiglass as a temp fix. Absolutely NO leaking issues though. I do have a replacement window on hand. Going to replace it as soon as I find time.
-Small dent in rear bumper. Bumped a tree in my driveway.
-Original Battery...only has about 220 CCA but i haven't had any issues yet.

Things that I am fixing before final sale

-Replacing broken dash vent.
-Repainting flares and bumpers. With spray can bedliner. Just to freshen up the black.
-May be replacing headlight. Depends on what I can find.
-Installing new (used) rear window.

Hered some pics of the engine bay...its dark,raining, and I took them with my phone just a few minutes ago so if you need better ones ill take some more tomorrow.

Oh and one minor cosmetic thing with the engine bay that I completely forgot about before. The cloth wrap around the battery is torn.

Most Ranger don't even have that battery wrap thing because it didn't come with it or it got throw away when it got ripped like yours.
So, I would just toss it and then you have no issues with the engine bay.
Your truck is worth $9500 if you've taken care of it. If there's one thing I've learned is that you got to have TONS of patience when selling a Ranger. You just have to wait for the right buyer to come along.
You're also out of the rust belt too so that alone makes it worth more.
I'm just curious, what has the dealer (aka con-artist) offered you?

well I have only asked two dealers and they have only been trade-in values. One low balled the hell outta me at 6,000 and the other offered me 8,000. This was before I fixed the window though so I don't know.

Oh earlier this year, before I moved back to nc, I had a dealer offer my 10,000 for trade-in. Should have taken it but didn't like anything on their lot.
