Maybe to you 8 isn't good but I worked at a car dealer for several years and I know prices for.used vehicles hell I was.tickled pink to get 8500 for my.old ranger ...and not.a lot of.people are going for small trucks anymore...they're.going more.for fullsizes.

Easy guys, not here please, I have done some research and the trade-in value for my truck is anywhere between 9k and 10k. At the same time the "fair market value" for my truck is 14k. I know I won't get anywhere if I ask for 14k that is why my price didn't start there. 9,500 is my minimum. I am not trading in my truck so I really don't care what the trade-in value of my truck is. This is going to be a private party sale and will be priced as such. Though I really didn't want to go to 9,500 I need this thing to sell to get my wife something she can drive while I am at work. Something she can fit 2 car seats in.

Well I got the trade-in values from nada and kbb. The fair market value was from some website I found through google. Don't remember the link and honestly don't know how accurate it is but I know the blue book of my truck, in pristine condition is 13,something.

Well nada is my first choice for values since the banks and dealerships use it. I think I am going to stay away from edmunds though. They are way off from anything else I find. And I mean way off
