Hi guys! I've been looking around for a good little daily driver and I've come to the conclusion that a forum full of enthusiasts would lead to a better selection than my local CL ads do.

I live in a northwest Chicago burb so something within a days drive would be best.

I would prefer an extended cab with an automatic trans. Pretty firm on those but beyond that I just want something that doesn't need any major work, is not rusted too badly, and that's about all I can hope for in that price range. Not concerned with the body style, as there isn't one I don't like any less than the others. I would even consider an S10/Sonoma.
