What year is this Ranger?

This truck is definitely not a 2007, I can tell by the headlight switch and the type of steering wheel it has, but what year is it? It has a 2001-2003 bumper and lower valence. There's not even one 2006+ part on it. I guess he pulled a 2007 VIN tag off of another Ranger and attached it to a 2004 cab, but isn't that against the law?

Can be a 01-04 by the corners, bumper, tails, and mirrors.

Yeah, I just noticed that it has a 1998-2000 bed and tailgate and a set of 2000 tail lights.
It actually does have some 2006+ parts, The grille with no blue oval and the step bars.

2004 or 2005.
Answer is based on corners, tailgate emblem, tail lights, ranger emblems and the fact that 2005 was the last year they made step sides (I believe, correct me of I'm wrong). Granted it does have SOME newer parts such as the side mirrors. I'm not positive about the grille and bumpers, but the grill has clearly web replaced.

It's not a 06 or 07.
the emblems on the front fenders,and tailgate ,are pre 06. 06 and up started the larger emblems on the front fenders,and the bigger logo emblems in center of tailgate. old retired guy

it looks like an '04 or '05 from looking at the front end, and 2005 was the last year for the step side. Its got older tails and front bumper and an '06+ grill. it says it has a rebuilt title so its probably just had whatever bumper/ grill/ tail lights he could get for cheap put on.

It's a 2003. He has the truck on there twice. Once like that and another with the old grill, rims, etc. U can tell because it has pretty much the same background

Cab has to be 04+ Putting that gauge cluster In a 03 would be a royal pita if not almost impossible
