Default Ranger 96-02 with blown engine below: $1000

Hey guys,
Im looking for a 1996-2002 Ford Ranger that has mechanical issues like a blown engine, bad transmission or bad brakes,... Body must look good not like rusted or dented. I am planning on a V8 swap. If you guys have one you want to get rid of or see any in good condition below $1000 in Ohio 45805 or Virginia 22737 let me know.

Thanks,
Ben

I'm currently having engine problems with my 97 ranger and seriously debating selling it. Great body condition.

Do you have any pics? How much are you looking to get out of it? Is it a regular or extended cab? 2x4 or 4x4? Stepside?

Thanks,
Ben

Sorry for the delayed response. I had to decide if i wanted to fix it myself or sell. I have decided to sell. I plan on taking pics of it later this week.
It is a 1997 Ford Ranger XLT, 4x4, regular cab, extended bed. The body is in good condition except for a golf ball sized dent in the hood, no rust that I'm aware of. I just have no need for a truck these days, I was considering trading it for a car before the malfunction but this made my decision pretty easy. I'm asking $1000 obo. If you are interested or would like to make an offer please email me at bmcneal85@gmail.com. Thanks!

BTW the engine is blown... just realized that I didn't say that in the description. So it would be a definite project truck. Brakes work well, it is a 5 speed, had a 4.0L V-6.
Thanks again.
