not trying to be a dick, but newer trucks similarly built are going for half your asking price. you still have a very nice truck though.

whys it called "pre running" is it like, a run before the run should just be: runner.

no, prerunners run the course before the "runners" or trophy trucks to kinda test it out and see whats out there. they have all the heavy duty parts, suspension, cage, etc to handle the course, but arent as fast and have comforts like a/c and a stereo.

yeah. a vehicle used by desert racers to run the course before the actual race to familiarize themselves with the course and all of the hazards they may encounter during the race.

You are entitled to your opinion but you are wrong. Yes I have seen similar looking trucks sell for half what I'm asking. But those trucks are only built for looks and mostly see the street. Honestly my prerunner is terrible on the street....it was built and designed for the dirt. This truck has been thru many real preruns they Baja and the deserts of the US. It was not used to play at Tough trucks or at the dunes.
With that said...I'm real motived to sell...price drop to $16k OBO

True. You can't count on getting your money back from every mod you put into a truck either. In other words most of the time trucks are black holes we fork money into just for the enjoyment. I understand all that you did, but 16k for a 22 year old ford ranger is just a little high. I'm not taking anything away from it. It is a very nice truck.

About the only thing 22 year old in the Ranger is inside the cab. Anything else from the suspension to the transmission is only a few years old.
But I understand the perception with it being a 1990 truck and all. I bet of you guys didn't know this, but many of the real high end prerunners, the $200,000 plus ones are usually titled as 1960's trucks. They use a old frames to start the truck so they don't have to be smogged. I not saying mine is anything like those, I'm just saying.
And with the economy being as is $16k is a bit high. Let just say have a number in mind and that's why the ad is $16k or best offer.
Tell me about not getting your money back...if you knew how much I have spent having this truck built and how much I have spent rebuilding each time after a race...$16k is nothing
