Ford ranger double cab 4x4 diesel
Hello,
I have a problem. I need to have a FORD RANGER DOUBLE CAB 4X4 DIESEL. I do not mind having it inported to Florida. I want it to be black, silver, or forrest green. It does need to be in good shape. I do not mind millage as long as i can fix it.
I love the Rangers. I had a 74 F100 Ranger with a 360 in it. I loved that truck. As I have gotten older I fell in love with diesel and so if anyone can held me with my pains I would really apreaciate it.

One, Customs isn't gonna be in love with a Ranger Diesel coming into the states.
Two, you're gonna face quite a bit of paperwork, and probably many modifications before that truck will be allowed on Florida streets.
Three, A 1974 F100 is a COMPLETELY different truck than a Crew Cab Euro/African/Mexican wherever Ranger.

There's a reason they aren't sold in the US. You wouldn't even be able to get a T-6 to pass emission tests here with those PUMA engines. have fun

You want a diesel.... But a Ford Super Duty. You'll have better luck getting struck my lighting than getting one of those road worth in the US.

put a cummins 4bt in a ranger

Buy a ranger same year model here in the USA, go to mexico buy the diesel one same year model, put your tags on it and drive it across boarder in TX, drive to FL swap the windshield from the one here in the USA with the state inspection and emission sticker, drive it with the tags from the american model, who would know the difference. Other option is swap over the entire power train from the diesel one to the american model - I think bolting on the tag is easier- not sure about florida bur in PA all diesel are emission exempt so that is not an issue

Until you get pulled over in a non- vin matching truck. Then it gets impounded and crushed and you pay thousands in fines. Also the windshields are different sizes, so your plan there wont work.

I have a 2012 Ford Ranger double cab turbo diesel 3.0 litre, I bought in brazil, dont think it is possible to import to usa due to the socialist government controling everything, check out the photos
CHeck if you can buy in mexico and drive back to usa.

If you still want a diesel ranger, they made them back in 83 with a 2.3l diesel i think.
