Description: Hey guys,
Up for sale is my 2003 Ford Ranger Edge Edition. The Edge features the bulletproof 200hp 4.0L V6 as well as rubber flooring. These motors are German motors and run forever if properly maintained, unlinke Fords 3.0L V6's. It is the desirable short cab/short bed combination. The truck has treated me very well over the past five years. The truck has roughly 130k on it. I bought it with 92k on it. I would say roughly 100k out the 130k were highway miles. The previous owner had a 100 mile/day commute, and I attend school in the state of Indiana and used the truck to get me out there and back. It has NEVER let me or the previous owner down. I have a log of everything done to the truck since I've had it, with the exact miles it was done at. Oil changes were always on time, tires always rotated, etc. Last year the truck received new wheel bearings, drums rebuilt, axle seals, transmission seal...You get the point that it was taken care of. As far as modifications are concerned, I had an add a leaf done which brought the rear up about 3" and increased the max tow load to that of an F150. In the front of the truck I installed new torsion keys which are adjusted properly bringing the truck up about 3" in the front. I installed a Cold Air Intake and got a custom 2.5" exhaust made at Monroe, utilizing a Flowmaster Muffler. It's not loud and annoying at all. I performed those things in hopes to increase gas milage. I also had a very nice bed liner put in. The tires were replaced last year and are 285/75/16 (33") Pirelli Scorpion ATR's, which are the highest rated All Terrain Tire for having the best tread wear and lowest road noise while still maintaining grip on any surface. I believe that is everything you need to know about the car. The interior is in great shape with an Ipod/Aux capable Head Unit (I drove very long distances). If proper maintenance is continued, I would confidently expect this truck to last another 130k, with ease. I'm selling because I purchased an AWD car to take place of the truck in the winters. If you have any questions, just contact Bob at 610-416-6588. Thanks for looking.
