Nobody flamed him at all, people just they'll believe it when they see it. Quite honestly, Ill believe it when I see it as well. It wont pass safety inspection, and that is something I would bet my salary on. I want to see the pics in person. I dont see the US Government letting it through customs. If Bill Gates cant even drive his Porsche 959 on public streets due to emissions and safety regs, neither will this guy with a ranger from over seas. Plus after importation fees, shipping, buying it, and then going through all the b.s. of trying to get it plated, youre looking at 30 grand for a stripped model and a year long migraine. Thank you, but Ill stick to gas. I do however believe that the euro ranger should come here. So good luck bud, and I want to see the non photo shopped pictures.

Also you might want to look into this- importing cars into the USA from any country requires that they meet safety standards as outlined in the Motor Vehicle Safety Act of 1966 as revised in 1988 in the Imported Vehicle Safety Compliance Act; to air pollution control standards as outline in the Clean Air Act of 1968 and amended in 1977 and again in 1990; and to the bumper standards of the 1972 Motor Vehicle Information and Cost Savings Act that were effective in 1978.

Thanks for the research that I now dont have to do. Like I said, I want to see the non photoshopped pictures of this thing running in the US with valid plates. When that happens, I may actually shit a brick

A guy on the ExPo forums successfully imported a diesel Ranger from Mexico after lots of work. It can be done. But it is a lengthy process.

Its a forum, so until I see biblical proof, or a non photoshopped picture, I pretty much dont believe it. Ever hear that Brad Paisley song "Cooler Online"? If not, you may want to.......

Dont get me wrong. I WOULD LOVE TO HAVE A 3.0 POWERSTROKE RANGER. But untill Ford starts building them here....... All we get are pics. Diesel Power Mag just did a Question and answer w FoMoCo and they asked why there are no ranger diesels here. Fords answer was there is no market for them in the US. I would love to see the people they pole for that question. I think they are affraid of loosing sales of the 50k superduty to a 30k ranger

Oh and there are NO emissions testing hear in Jacksonville Florida so who is going tell me I can't drive one??????????.
wen all MY Info is in from Ford I will pass it a long .
these lil diesels can be made 2 pass emissions tests hear, just like all new Diesels could be .
Market researchers have not found a viable market for these small Diesels hear in the u.s.
w/ price and availability for Diesel being an issue . the Mazda ranger non Diesel delivers good fuel mileage and Gasoline being a lot cheaper no one is crying for a Diesel
Ford mazda ranger at this time . But a few ppl like My self .
the 4 cyl. Diesel only gets 26.43 M P G , so if you are a fleet owner say 40 + trucks, over the span of a yr it save some $$$$$$ huh!!

Like I said, its a "Cooler Online" situation. When I see this truck on American soil, with valid registration, driving on a highway, I will then completely believe it. Until then, as I previously stated, its a forum.

So now, I am going to depart to my garage of my 35 million dollar house where my 4 perfect "LEave it to beaver" kids are waxing my 15 Italian sports cars and my 10 American made trucks. I will then choose one, wreck it, order a new one from the factory and my wife wont even care. Did I mention that I look like Ryan Reynolds and shit 100 dollar bills?

That paragraph may have been fabricated..... :-)
