YES. I would not trust it. You can always get a title from the DMV. Ask for the vin number and call the state police, they can run it. But, if it comes back as hot, they will want to know what you know and now your in the middle of it.

lol, you never know...... may have been abandoned? you can still apply for a title, after inspection.... thr has to be some kind of paperwork on why thr is no title. in the case of a broken vehicle some people junk 'em so the dnt have to pay taxes on it anymore.. all in all, its cheap, either take a sheriff or ask for "bill of sale" and get seller ID/credentials..

If it was stolen I doubt he would have addressed the fact that it didnt have a title in the ad. Vehicles can not have titles for few more reasons other than being stolen. I don't know if it deserved a "flag" but hey you may be right you never know these days

I mean its perfectly fine if you have a certain use for it. Some will buy it as parts, others want a farm or race truck, I just don't have a use for a truck with no titles

I just dont see how is has NO title in that good of shape and to be putting money into it (oil pump?). Nothing seems to add up

A repo'd car may not have a title. They can be bought legally and you can file for a lost title and get a new one.
Easy way to check is to ask for the VIN and call the DMV.
