I've seen that kind of thing plenty of times. If you need a flatbed to haul things that aren't heavy or over-size, then it works quite fine.

Well I would like to have a flat bed on my plow truck. Actually, this is the one I would want. minus the dog cages.

I guess for everyday things they are not that great, but from a work truck stand point the functionality is very useful

i see your point. It would be good for a plow truck. All i know is i have a trailer that does the same thing but i gues you cant really pull a trailer while your plowing snow

Its not that ridiculous if you ask me. its no more impractical than seeing a big superdudy flatbed that is used to only carry light cargo. If you need more sq ft and don't need it for anything ridiculously heavy i think its acceptable.

It probably had the normal Ford rust problem and instead of going through the hassle of fixing it, they replaced it with a flatbed.
