Default Clean Looking 1999 F-250 V8

Still tossing around the idea of a new truck some time in the next year. Never know though, what you guys think of this with the 5.4 V8?

I thought I heard that they cut horsepower down in the F-250s from even the F-150s? Is that right? Is it as bad a 3.0 Ranger or just not to peppy?

Okay, so I should probably go for a early 2000 silverado, ram, or dakota.

Heard lots of good about the 5.3 in the Silverados and same with most dodge V8s unless you have other concerns I should research?

There's a 2005 silverado 1500 4x4 in my family. Made model, 5.3 vortec with 270k on it. Its an awesome motor. It's got balls, my girlfriends 2007 tahoe ltz with the 5.3 has nothing compared to it. Not sure why. The vortecs are good motors. They will last.

It would be my DD. Would sell the Ranger first if I do. My dad's 07 work truck has the 6.0 vortec and that motor does great and gets going good for having a utility body FULL behind it.

6.0 is a great motor.

personally I would look for a 1500hd or 2500hd
