Default Re: Original Family Owned GEN II Ranger up for grabs

Curious, just two questions, where was it driven between 1990 and now (all cities and states where owner lived) and how was it used (monthly, twice a year, etc)? I mean, the mileage averages out to ~2600/year.

*On edit: Suggestion......get rid of that bra (if that's what it is) ASAP. Not because of how looks, but because of how they damage the paint underneeth when they are on. Unless it's already too late and the damage is already done, then hide it I guess. People who know cars will know this and will look to see what is underneeth, those that don't, won't.

The bra picture was just to show that I had it. It's never been on cause the paint is fine underneath just to be said...

California was the only state to be driven in and between Atascadero and Ventura county idk much else the truck has been. Original owner used the tailgate as a chair mostly in the garage. Avg mileage in Atascadero was prolly 3000 a year I would guess. Mostly for hauling hay. Maintenance was done by a retired military mechanic neighbor. And the last year it has been in residing in Ventura county and commuting to woodland hills on occasion. Maybe once or twice a month but it gets turned over and starts everytime during the week.

Usually when something isn't selling price is a factor. Maybe try ebay for a bigger audience.

I just figure that someone here would want a ranger project with a good starter or just a truck to putt around in....

....I've sold all my BMWs through bimmerforum.com and thought I'd have luck with ranger gear heads, but here it looks like more the prettiness and looks vs. things of performAnce...
Maybe you're right

I disagree. 2/3 of the members here over pay for their trucks. This is a great place to sell your Ranger. Most members over value their trucks.

Where did the truck live most of its life?

All California. Garaged during the 90's but has spent the last bit outside. The white paint is a little faded in some spots but ok still overall after some soap and water

And I have yet to come across any rusted surfaces
