Arrow 1988 Ranger XLT 2.9L 2WD $1000 O.B.O.

Update: The truck has been SOLD!

Edit: I'm lowering the price to $950 O.B.O.

Hey everyone,

I'm sad to be selling my Ranger, but I got another car and want to sell it to help pay off my newer car. I figure most people on here would want to see it. It's turned over but I believe the mileage must be 232,000.

I bought it in March 2009, and have fixed everything that failed over that duration. I've spent over $3,000 in repairs and replacements, which I have receipts for most of. For the ones I don't have receipts, I either installed myself or had a local mechanic install it.

This is why I'm asking $950, because of all the known-issues that have been fixed. However, since I can still drive it to work and back with no problem, I don't want to just give it away. I'm willing to take the best offer. I know that many of the recently-replaced items below could easily be parted out and sold, even though the truck is still running.

For the pictures, I made this album. http://www.fordrangerforum.com/membe...ale-album.html

And I've written a basic description. Sale is "as-is"
The Good:
Replaced in the last 3-4 years:

Gabriel shocks 3/5/2011
Upper and Lower Ball Joints by local mechanic 3/2013.
Radius Arm Bushing Replaced by local mechanic 3/2013.
Front Brake Pads by local mechanic 3/2013
Two-wheel Alignment by a shop 4/8/2013
Windshield 2009
Window tint 15% 7/2010
Radiator system, thermostat, drivebelts, hoses, fuel filter, Waterpump by a shop 3/2010
Both fuel pumps by a local mechanic. 7/2013
New ECU by a local mechanic. 7/2013
Spark plugs (2011-ish) and PCV (12/5/2011) by me.
Battery replaced last year 9/2012
Turn Signal Switch installed by me with wire crimps (needs to be done better, just haven't had the time.) 4/2012
Performance Catalytic Converter installed 2011 couple years ago by me.
Ignition Control Module by shop replaced 9/2012
4 Tires were bought 6/2009
Heater core replaced by local mechanic 2011
AC was converted to R134a by previous owner. It works, but might need manufacturer's hose instead of current crimp-on.

I have new spark plug wires that I bought a year ago, I just need to get around to installing them this week.

High mileage oil used, and filled with 88-89 Octane fuel in the last year.

The Bad:
It drives well, in fact I drove it 180 miles recently to go camping. But the gear shifting has recently become louder, and clanks.

The headlights don't come on immediately after I start it, I have to put the brights on for 5 minutes (which always work) and then off and the headlights work. I have no idea why.

Both windows need regulators.

A few holes in the exhaust, still muffled. Passed emissions.

Was involved in an accident by previous owner. Driver side quarter panel was replaced. Still a dent on passenger side door.

Well.. That's about all that I can think of for now. Please send me a personal message if you're interested. I'm going to try to get a video starting it up, etc. I'm in Arizona Phoenix area, so hopefully anyone interested is nearby to schedule a time with me to look at it. Thanks!

No comments on here. Is no one interested, or is it the price I'm asking? Some feedback would be helpful - thanks.
