Re: Near new chrome 15" xlt + tires
Well, guys, you can't buy a decent set of used tires for $200. You can't buy a decent set of new tires for $400. So, how can I sell wheels and tires for that?
Bottom dollar on Ebay is $500 plus shipping, buy it now for $800 which is literally 1/2 what they would cost new.
If they don't sell, I'll gladly keep them before I give them away. There's not a scratch on 'em and the tires have a good 20-30K miles to go.

Well, It looks like you'll be keeping them ... lol You can't expect someone to pay retail for a set of used tires and rims. If you can get $450 it'll surprise the hell outa me.

This is completely uncalled for. I am getting lots of queries on ebay already and it's only been there a day.
I don't see what's so hard to understand?
A set of new Wrangler SR-As are $456 by themselves. These wheels new are $306 and chance each and they don't have a scratch on them.
RETAIL for this would be over $1600.
If they have no value to you . . . go on to the next thread.

I'm not bashing anyone here ... I just think he needs no be realistic.
A lot of people are doing the same thing he is, which is selling their stock wheels and buying custom wheels and big a** 33s.

Re: Near new chrome 15" xlt + tires
Sigh . . .
And I'm not doing that either. You just need to quit assuming you know things about people and their motives that you don't. Selling a set of wheels and tires that new cost over $1600 retail that are in fantastic shape for a "buy now price" of $800 [1/2 price] or a starting bid of $500 is not selling at retail. That's quite an exceptional deal being the Wrangler SR-A tires alone new would be $456 plus shipping from TireRack. These 15" chrome wheels are $306 each new.
And, I'm not buying big a$$ 33s either. I bought 16" Ford FX4 rims with the charcoal accents which I like the looks of on this gray truck so I could use up a great set of 255/70/16 inch Pirelli ATR tires I had in the garage. And I do gain a little ground clearance in the process [1 1/4"] a better ride even though it's an ATR tire and better grip for off roading and out at the farm.
Now, anything else you'd like to know that you obviously don't?
Troll elsewhere or I am sure the moderators here can assist you.

Why do you keep quoting new prices when everything is used?

Thank You! I was wondering the same thing myself.
Ford has been putting those 7 spoke chrome wheels on the Rangers for 13 years now, so there's plenty of them at the salvage yards.
I can find them all day long for $65 - $70 a wheel or $250 for a set.
And FYI ... Mr. 30 post that joined FRF this month I'm not trolling.

Re: Near new chrome 15" xlt + tires
You've said I am trying to sell USED wheels and tires for "RETAIL".
That's a lie, period.
You can buy these wheels RETAIL for $279 each now at finishline down from $306 last week or $204 direct from Ford but the hub cap is extra. You can buy these tires RETAIL for $114 from tirerack. - Which is why I keep quoting RETAIL pricing. I am NOT charging anywhere near retail pricing.
I am offering these hardly used wheels and tires for a "buy it now" of $800 OBO over $500. That's not retail if you can add. That's $125-$200 per wheel/tire mounted balanced and ready to go and these wheels are cherry. Look at 'em.
I don't take kindly to people suggesting I am trying to rip others off when I think I am frankly offering like new wheels and tires still with 2/3 their life left for a pretty good deal here. Your persistence in doing so when the facts would state otherwise is trolling at its very nature and what the hell does my number of posts have to do with anything? At least I am a financial contributor. I'd suggest you knock it off.
My outrageous pricing is probably why I've got 10 watchers now on the EBay auction and have answered 6 questions, none of which were pricing related.

And I would want to [what] do this out of the kindness of my heart because you and 444 have been SO helpful helping me to move mine here?
I believe EBay is an equal opportunity establishment if you'd like to run an ad of your own.
I will likely end up selling them to my neighbor if they don't go on EBay though I am getting enough questions from EBay watchers I'll be surprised if someone doesn't pounce bid at the end.
My neighbor has a Mazda and likes the price just fine especially considering there's no shipping fee. Obviously a complete idiot just like me to think a set of 4 very low mileage chrome XLT wheels without a scratch on them and tires mounted balanced and ready to go that have 2/3 their life left would be worth $500 or more . . . unbelievable.
Apparently there are even worse idiots than me . . .

Doesn't have a tire or a hub cap and has scratches.
