Default a set of slimmer wheels and tires

I currently have 235 75 r16 and they love to hydroplane and also like to slide in snow! I live in KY and we get the worst of both world in weather I am looking for slimmer tires and rims

Also looking for a cheap drop kit, hit me up y'all

That tire size should not be an issue, you need a M&S or rain tire with large siping for water release. Do homework at tirerack.com

Thanks for the info, but every tire guy around here tells me that I need slimmer tires? Including my dad

You tell the tire guy he can shove it. You are not running a wide enough tire to worry about rain affecting your driving. However, in there parts of the states there is more oil used in paving. So you are going to be more prone to sliding in wet conditions. I run 31x10.50s, essentially a 265/70R15. I have never had an issue with hydroplaning. I grew up in the rainy side of Washington too. Sounds like you may need new tires though. Spend money for a good tire. The cheaper you go the more worthless they are. Trust me, I know from experience.
