Default Uneven Ranger after Body lift

I just completed the body lift on my 2000 2wd ranger and i measured it from bottom of tire to top of wheel well on both sides the passenger side is about 3/4" to 1" higher. Or the driver's side is lower same difference. But is this because the lift is still fresh on the truck and hasn't had time to settle.

Thanks would really appreciate the feedback

That's probably the Ranger lean...most Rangers are lower on the drivers side.

Nope, all you did was lift the body - there isn't anything to 'settle'.

Assuming you installed it correctly.

We're your rubber bushings shot? If they are and you tightened one side more than the other then it will be a little lower on that side. Measure your frame height on both sides.

I'll measure the frame in the morning and compare. All the rubber bushings looked fine just a bit dirty from being in the truck for 13+ years

I didn't think there was anything that needed to settle

Just a quick question does any body know if the stepside rear bumper needs different mounts than the styleside. I tried putting the rear bumper back on after the body lift and the bracket didnt appear to be right

Are you referring to the gap that the body lift made between the bumper and the bed now?
