Default Camber kit install issues

Got a camber kit since a while back I did a T-bar crank. (4wd)

The issue I am running into is the inner eccentric (closest to the shock support) will not sit flush with the upper control arm mounting bracket. There is a 1 inch tab near the back that is getting in the way. This is not a problem for the outer eccentric as there seems to be a sort of shim plate there that keeps the tab from interfering. Am I missing a shim plate, or is the eccentric just supposed to be sitting with a space between it and the bracket, or is my trucked just F'd up?

I am really hoping the answer is not "remove the tab" because then I'll just return the parts and say screw it, I'll take poor camber...

Edit, I have the Northstar Mfg 44-768 +/- 3.25 Degree kit.

you need to remove all the stock shim plates. They should fit right into the slots, no issues

Also what I was hoping not to hear. The side without the shim plate still there is the problem side.

Hey do you have any pictures of the gap you are talking about?
I am in the process of replacing all of my front suspension and steering components. I used the Raybestos camber bolt kit from Rockauto.
At least for my truck, the stock bolts have a plate on either side. The side closest to the shock mount is the concentric plate and the other side is a a hexagonal plate. I just removed everything and the new kit fit right in.
The new concentric plates fit between the outer edge of the upper control arm mounting bracket and a tab that is punched out of the main body of the bracket.
My camber kit fit really well in between those two.
I can give you some pictures tomorrow if you want.

Hope this helps.

There are 2 tabs. These tabs is where the stock camber bolts and the new camber bolts belong. If they do not fit you either bought the wrong kit or there is something in the way. If the stock bolt came out, the new kit should go right in.

Lets get a picture of what your dealing with. I have installed these before and its not an issue.

Thanks for input. I never did find any other player besides the ones further from the shock mount. My truck is a salvage title and there are signs of front end damage, which may be effecting this. No pictures since I dropped it off for alignment last night.

On the drivers side I ended up putting the eccentrics where the test had been (on the outside of the assembaly) and nothing on the inside, as that was similar to how it was originally setup. The inner portion of the bracket did look a little warped. Everything could turn, so hopefully that will be sufficient.

The sender side I was able to fit all 4 eccentrics, but it looked as though one wasn't sitting as flush as the outer ones and had to force it in there a bit.

I'll follow up on what the mechanic says nut I'm guessing the salvage has something to do with the issues.
