Because its for looks and you have money to blow!!

I have seen many many almost brand new big ass trucks all lifted with big tires and tons of bling bling accessories on them and yet you can guarantee those truck will probably only see a dirt road now and then...because they are too "pretty" to get muddy!! We call them "mal crawlers".

You peek under my truck and look in certain spots you will find tons of dried up dirt/mud from going mudding!!
I was under there with a pressure washer at the car wash last weekend and i wa like "wtf i stoll got crap all up in there!!"

Deep mud pits, large potholes, step ups, etc?

And did he use 4x4 while encountering any of the above?

Sure they are, you just have a miracle truck that didn't break any parts for 15 years.

Which is strange because most ball joints wear out within 15 years, especially on a truck that is "beat the piss out of", even when aftermarket Torsion Keys aren't installed.

Yeah I was skeptical of the price since most are like $1200 or $1500 like mentioned above. And I looked at the instructions for the body lift and I just don't want to get in above my head since ive only had my truck for 3 months and dont know much about the parts and I would hate to ruin it. I guess I'll just crank my t-bars for now and save up a couple months to pay for a Superlift to get more. I can believe that lifitng gets addicting, I don't even have a lift yet and I want to get one asap haha. Thanks for the info and tips!

If I do the torsion bar crank how many turns should I do to not max out the t-bars but just obtain maybe just 2-2.5"? I heard 9 clockwise turns on a different thread

It all depends on how far they are in now and how saggy your bars are. I turned mine two complete turns and got about an inch to inch and a half.

Good man. That's the best way to roll long term.

It's ever a good idea to go cheap and end up cutting corners when talking about suspension.

If you crank your tbars...get an alignment done afterwards or you will roast your tires.

And a body lift isnt that complicated....if you can work a wrench and a screwdriver you can do a body lift.

It lifts the body up and makes room for larger tires..which also adds lift....but its not a $1500 suspension lift.

Ive had mine for almost 2 yrs...no issues or anything.

Of course the only true way to go bigger is to be a traitor and a sellout and buy am f150!! Coughcoughdjcough
