Default who has done an explorer leaf swap

looking for first hand experience from folks who have done the explorer leaf swap.

how much lift is it, are they softer, or stiffer?

how do they handle bumps when going a fair speed. IE. washboard on a gravel road.

my leafs are sagging, and i need to replace but i want something a bit better for the gravel roads, and maybe something with better articulation than ranger leafs

I did a half ass expo swap. I left my main leaf on. Installed the explorer main leaf at #2. Then re-assembled with longest to shortest from my leafs and the expo leafs.

I have 7 total leafs. Was able to remove the factory 2" block and add 2" of lift. The ride is alot softer and payload capacity is greatly increased.

If you do it this way, you have to cut the ends of the expo leaf off

Bumping this.

As I wanna do this but want 1" lift at the most. 0-.5" ideally. If I do what above poster did, but leave out a few leafs would that work?

Can you post a picture of yours. Ive been trying to come up with a way to fix the rear sagging under load and that sounds like a good idea.
