Default Question for 2wd Lift: coil spacers

My question is what should I do to improve the ride quality when adding 2" coil spacers to my truck. I have heard about new shocks or lengthening the existing bolt. I would like to know how much bigger I should get the shocks or if not shocks what I should do.

In a perfect world I would have done lift spindles but I will not be using my truck for anything more than getting around construction sites. Other than that its all paved roads for me.

I will be doing AALs in the rear.

Thanks in advance to all who reply

Well I would think putting in 2" spacers that takes roughly 2"from the shock so I'd say put 2" longer shocks also look for longer sway bar end links at autozone or somewhere

Also AAL will make the ride a little stiffer so if your trying to maintain a stock ride quality you may want to look at other options

Have you bought the spacers yet? If you are looking for ride quality go with spindles up front and lift shackles in the rear. The spindle will lower your wheel hub so your shock/spring setup will remain stock. I DO NOT know if this will work for your truck (click--> http://www.ebay.com/itm/3-LIFT-SPIND...9c933c&vxp=mtr ) since you are a 99 but I think the only major front suspension change was from 97-98 when Ford went with IFS vs beams....besides torsion bars vs coils that is.

thanks guys for the replies.
as to the spindles, i would definitely spend the money on them if were going to use my truck to offroad or hit trails often. but the cost for them is far more than my need.

Also about the AALs. I currently sag some in the rear bc of my all my tools and other various loads i need to get from job site to job site. what should i do to level my truck out while lifting to match my front as well?

Ok, 2 more questions.

My truck leans to the driver side. How do I go about correcting this? Looks goofy

2nd. I carry a bunch of tools and luggage with me for my job. My back end sags. I want to lift the truck a total of 2-3 inches but also want to have it level and not sagging. If it sags every once in a while with a heavier load that would be fine but my toolbox and tools always stay in plus a cleaning bucket with supplies to keep her looking pretty. Im not to familiar with suspensions so please help me!!!
