Default Problem with Suspension/Transfer Case??

I have a lound knocking sound from front drivers side while driving. it dosnt always happen, but when it dose, sometimes i dont even hit a bump. I have torsion lift keys in the front and they are cranked a little as well. im wondering if it is a problem there but everythign seems to be tight. another thing tho is my transfer case was completely empty when i checked it the other day (dont know how this happened cause there was no sign of it leaking anywhere) i have used my 4x4 im guessing when it was dry. but would it still maked that lound noise and pounding on my floor even if its in 2wd?? i thought it was the wheel bearing cause it was getting a little bound up but this did not fix it. PLEASE HELPP!!
