Default Ranger wobble when hits a bump

Hi I'm new to this form and looking for help. I drive a 2011 ford ranger sport 4x4 4.0L. So lately I have been noticing my truck wobbles when I hit bumps on the road it feels like the tires catch air and the truck feels like I'm loosing control And I was wondering if anyone can help me out. THANKS.

Mine used to do it bad too. Idk if it was a problem or just the nature of the truck? I have 31's now and it doesn't do it anymore. Haha. But mine did it especially bad on turns and where the road dipped up or down

Lol. Yea I was on a dirt road last weeknd and I had to slow right down because I thought I was going to end up in ditch. I hull heavy loads in back of my truck and I wonder if the weight messed up something overtime.

I have the same issue with mine. I recently put new 265/75/16 BFG's on & tightened t-bars & added small add-a-leaf - the bounciness increased with these mods (which is totally understandable). I run 40 psi and might back it down to 35 to test but I'm thinking that I need different shocks. only have 6k miles on the truck so I know the shocks aren't beat up (unless OEM shocks are junk ... ...). keep us posted, I'll share what I find if I decide to go spend a couple hundred on shocks

Check your sway/stabilization bar links, they might just be snapped. Autozone has replacements for $13 a pop. Going to install them tomorow.

sounds like death wobble. I would check your tie-rods/wheel bearings/ball-joints for wear.

My jeep comanche did this to me once, I thought I was done for. Something about when you hit the bump it starts worn parts to wobble and it just kinda builds on itself and the tires feel like there falling off.

Pot holes or road damage cause by heavy driven equipment(you know, the wavy road pattern) can be a bitch. I've kind of wonder if part of the problem might be that the truck is light?

just replaced my balljoints, and my tires are very "cupped" on the inside from them, now i can feel the wobble more because everything is tight in front... but my problem is my shocks are too short in front, maxxed out all the time, so i hit a bump, weight comes off the front, and it "wobbles" on the inside tire wear till the weight is back 100%
