| | Cranked Only One Torsion Bar
After I put my 32's on today I wanted the truck a little higher up front. Put it on jackstands up front and measured. I crank the drivers side 4 times and it is now even with the passenger side. 35'' from ground to bottom of fender and 4 7/8'' from top of tire to fender bottom. I think it looks fine but only cranking the one side is making me wonder when it says everywhere to crank them both evenly. And I have no idea if the previous owner cranked them either. I guess I need some advice?

If it is even then you are good, apparently your truck had been leaning and now it is even on both sides, I would bounce the suspension a bit and see where it settles.

Well the truck has a lean to it from the factory. This is to compensate for the gas tank on the driver side.

I drove it a little bit after I cranked it like I read. I was just wondering if it what I did was alright because it measured fine, but I didnt crank the bolts evenly. Basically I am wondering does the amount of cranks really matter side to side if you are going to count bolt revolutions and measure make sure each side is at even height?

They come from the factory with a lean.
So Yes you just wanna even it out. Now if your going for height cranking both of them is necessary, but you still wanna make it level. So one will be cranked more than the other.

I did read what you had posted. Evening out the front was what I was wondering about and you answered my question about that in your last post. Got it now, thanks for your input.

STL is it worth him filling the gas tank up to get it even and let the weight compensate then adjust then Bars then?
If it's a factory lean from the factory will it not lean agIn when the tank is full?

haha yeah your truck would gradually begin to get higher and higher on the left side as you drove all the gas out

I suppose that would be a good idea. Most people dont just crank 1 torsion bar though.

Since I have wednesday off I'll crank the passenger side four times like I did the driver side. See what it looks like, maybe Ill do six cranks. Ive been driving something else until I get an alignment after this is all done.
