Thank you, I will wait for you to post pictures of the finished lift, well here's my problem, I bought a 2001 V6 Flare Bed Ford Ranger (thats all I know about my truck I never was a truck guy lol will ask later for help in order to know what type do I have)
Ok so as you can see in the pictures this truck has been lifted, but I feel like is not just rigid as I expected to be but extremely rigid, I don't know if this is normal, on the third and last picture you can see they welded some metal frames I think in order to make it steady I really don't know, but I don't think they go there what you guys think?, on the last picture (the red circle) shows a welded part (I have to weld it) since the chassis was getting broken, the green part shows that it was welded before underneath the metal plate and also that shows the size bottom to top of the crack, this was just a momentary fix.

So I want for ask any tips/help/advice you can provide so I can get this fixed, I really like the look of the lifted truck but don't want to worry about the broken chassis.

those square brackets that are welded in are fine...they came with the body lift and it instructs you to weld them in for extra bed support (newer rangers have bolts there and get extra spacer blocks there and dont need the square brackets welded in).

go back a page and read it... look at posts #68 and 70 for pics..

It's a pain to get off but I would take it out and investigate it see if it's installed the same as the other side, I think 55 foot pounds to tighten it down too, I could be wrong on that somebody will let me know of that lmao

Thanx I don't think I'll be able to do it myself since I don't have all the tools, but now I know what to tell my mechanic and not get fooled lol

Buy the tools! And if you cannot afford them, buy and return, or borrow.
