Default Energy Suspen Poly, Belltech 6400, raised hitch Pics Review

I would like to Thank my Father for being bored enough to want to help me yesterday wasnt expecting that and Justin for stopping over after class to help button it up needed the extra hand for the hitch! always makes things easier with more hands lol!

started with removing the bed and getting to work if any of you have ever played with the shackles/hangers with the bed on you will know how horrible it is to work on. so off it came.

Out the Hot Knife came and torched off the old hangers in a matter of min's. if you have ever replace stock riveted on hangers and did the drill and grind method you will know you wont be done in 5 min. LOL got to love a torch.

some my ask why replace the hangers!?! well there around $50 new from the dealer. AND if you have ever owned a ranger in the north you will know they like to corrode and brake every ranger i have owned I have replaced them this truck wasnt broken yet but it was a might as well thing! just remember to replace with good grade bolts/nuts.

there is the end result. I was just going for around 1" lift so just went with the first hole not the farthest out. my rear springs are tall as it is but wanted to crank the bars up just some and that would level the truck and I would like to keep it slight rake. with my tool box and tire in the back it lowers the truck a good 1.5" easy so up she came.

the end ride is amazing with the poly bushings I would recommend it to any one and if you are pulling it apart anyways for $35 WHY NOT!

last part not so much suspension but throw it in anyways. cut metal worked welded and installed the new raised hitch... not bad I think.. same design has been running on Justins truck for a little while now with no issues and even hauled a trailer if i want I might plate more this summer but dont seen a problem yet.

ya i know all iPhone pics but eh oh well get some good pics later when the new tires go on next week :439:
