Default sway bar?

i just took my sway bar off becouse i broke a link it has a lot of body roll i thought about leveing it off will it wheel better

for IFS trucks it will wheel better because the wheels will be able to act independently like their supposed to.

yeah...it'll actaully allow the IFS to flex...droop at one side, stuff on the other. Independant movement of either side. BUT, it also introduces the possibility of CV shaft binding at full droop.

here's a pic...look at the lower control arms...

sway bar hasn't been on for 2 years...never bothered to hook it up during the suspension lift. But now she's a street pounder and I really want my sway bar back. lol.

I liked the way my truck drove without the sway bar back when it was IFS. Now with the SFA the body roll is unbearable without the sway bar.

yea its fun i just took it off to day wateing to see what its like geting on the eway but im going to keep it off

i searched for a how-to on disconnecting the sway bar but i couldn't find anything. anyone wanna help me out on how to disconnect it? i know i'm retarded for not knowing..

un bolt the links that link the bar to lower a arm then the 4 bolts on the frame that mounts the bar 2 bolts on eatch side of truck

it's a bolt on each side to take apart the end links.. not much to it. You can just take out hte endlinks, and point the bar upward.
